Live to eat or Eat to live

OMG the blog is dying...

Well today I will not write about any experience about the food I eat cuz it had all already became poop and I return all of it to 'Indah Water' and I can hardly remember or find any pic about it. So today I will just write about some small thought related to food that I had in mind.

There are people in this world who eat to live. They spend rather less on food because they feel that food is not that important in life. This kind of people have no typical request about anything they eat as long as it is edible and not expensive. They rather spend money on other things such as shopping or doing other things. This kind of people have no life so there is nothing much to talk about it. Why??? those of you in this category still dare ask why???

Ok I will explain why. Some of them say they rather go buy purse than eating good food. They save up money from eating and go buy prada, gucci, louis vutton and bla bla bla. They say that those thing are much more better than food because each meal you eat will become 'bahan tinjaan' or sh*t after several hours but those bag last forever until it spoil. haha... up my ***!!! Until it spoil??? Try looking at the corner... Some of the bags or purses they bought are eating dusk at the corner or inside the depest depth of the cupboard. One day they will find those bags and go " Oh my god, I thought i lost it, how come it is here but so old fashion liao..." then they leave those bags at the same spot where they find it...

Well ... F*ck... For 1 branded bag... With that price, i can friggin eat 100 plates of nasi lemak ayam... take that!!! I can explore all kl nasi lemak ayam spot and try all. I know after eating, it will all eventually become poop.. But i don't care... cuz 100 plates mean 100 meals and 100 meals means i can experience happiness 100 times...

I rather spend money on having my hapiness numerous times a day in different flavours and colours and environment.... Can you people who do that with a bag or purse? Well unless prada or lv invented a bag that would change shape and colours everyday then i have nothing to say la...

So try changing your life..... Don't be stingy on food....

Good nitezzz...

My most unforgetable eating experience...

Hi my name is Gene. I am a boy.... yada yada yada... ok ... i should cut the crap and go straight to the point....

Have you ever try food that will stay in your memory for the rest of your life?

I am proud to say I have... And let me share with everyone...

Back then when I was in KTAR setapak, I got the opportunity to eat at a restaurant over there and the shop is very famous for its wanton mee. A chinese noodle with water dumplings. Even professional office lads from all over kl come to taste it, according to what my friend say. So i decided to try it.

On that super fortunate day, I went there with a few of my friends. We ordered the infamous wanton mee. We waited for an hour for it because the queue is very long. Finally when it is our turn...
Weee... Voila.... Happy?

Excited??
I don't think so.... I found the MOST DISGUSTING, DIRTY, IRRITATING and GRUESOME THING ON EARTH!!!!!!!

Did You PPL SEE CLEARLY???? YOU KNOW WHAT's THAT???

YESSSS!!!!!!

I was shocked... That freaking thing is having sunbath in my bowl of mee... YES! COCKROACH!!!

It was so shocking that even CATS AROUND WERE SCREAMING !!!

DOGS WERE RUSHING TO TOILET and...

What happen to the rest of us???

What is cooking? Cooking is to make food digestable and palatable, at the same time adding a little cockroach to spice up things abit.... GOD BLESS!!!

Xi an Food Journey

Xian is legendary as "the capital of table delicacies." The ancient city which is the capital of thirteen dynasties is famous for the delicious Shaanxi snack, the delicate Guangdong cuisine, various kinds of fashionable foreign delicacies, and the popular Sichuan cuisine, such as hot pot. There’s a saying that you can never try out all the xi’an snacks in a week until your stomach is going to explode.

Top 1:dumpling Banquet
Dumpling Banquet.Dumpling, or Jiaozi in Chinese, is one of the most representative Chinese food. The food can be dated back two thousands years ago. Ingredients for the dumpling fillings include various meats, vegetables, and seasonings. Cooking methods include steaming, boiling, pan-frying, deep frying, and roasting. Many flavors, including salty, sweet, hot, and sour are offered. Other house specialties include Peking dumplings, steamed sweet bean paste buns, steamed shrimp paste buns, and various uniquely spiced dishes. While guests sample various delicacies, traditionally waiters will explain the cuisine culture of each dumpling.

Top 2: Yang Rou Pao MO(Mutton Bread)
Visitors to Xian must do two things: one is to see the clay figures of terra cotta warriors and horses. The other is to taste Yang Rou Pao Mo (a soup dish that involves breaking wheat flour flat bread into a bowl and adding a delicious mutton stock). Before dinner, you will be served one or two pieces of wheat flour flat bread which you into tiny chunks, the smaller the better. The waiter or the waitress will then hand your bowl to the cook who mixes the bread and mutton soup with an appropriate relish. When the steaming hot meal is brought in, the waiter will also offer you sweet crisp pickled garlic, coriander, and hot pepper sauce. The most famous, the Tong Sheng Xiang (Prosperity and Fortune) Beef and Lamb Paomo Restaurant done in Tang Dynasty style, is a time-honored establishment in the Xian Bell and Drum Tower Square.
Top 3: Guan Tang Bao Zi

One of Xian's most famous specialties is the Guan Tang Baozi (steamed buns served with sauces inside) served at Jia Brothers' Restaurant in Muslim Snack Street. You'll know you're there when you see the monstrous blue arch over the entrance and a wall festooned with photographs of Xian notables -- TV hosts, writers, and musicians. The specialty dish is Guan Tang Bao Zi, with a choice of beef, lamb or "three flavors" -- lamb, mushroom, and prawns. The buns have piping-hot soup inside, so caution is advised. This dish is best washed down with Ba Bao Xi Fan, a bowl of sweet rice porridge filled with peanuts, sultanas, hawthorn, and medlar berries.

Top 4: Rou Jia MO ( Grilled Steam Bread With Mincemeat Fil)

Fanji is the famous vendor of Shaanxi's most widely consumed snack, Rou Jia Mo, finely chopped pork stuffed in toasted wheat flour flat bread. A piece of good-quality (youzhi) bread and a bowl of mung bean flour soup will cost you no more than RM3. Roujiamo(finely chopped pork stuffed in baked pancake). It looks like a hamburger, but tast it you will find they are complete different.Roujiamo is made of mincemeat wrapped by griddle steamed bread. Meat used in Roujiamo is a kind of cured meat stewed with assorted sauces in a kettle. This makes the meat soft, eay to chew and taste with a lasting flavor. HIgh culinary skill is required to produce this kind of meat. The state-run atmosphere is quaint and friendly, and the numerous awards that decorate the walls are well deserved.

Top 5:Liangpi (Cold Noodles)
Liangpi(cold noodles) is a famous summer snack (also sold in winter) in Xi’an. There are variety kinds of Liang Pi, but this snack is made from wheat flour (or other starch). It looks translucent and tastes cold, and known for its white color, thin shape, smooth surface, pliable texture, and tender and savory taste. It is eaten along with garlic, ginger, pepper, sauce, vinegar, bean sprouts, capsicum flour, salt, sliced cucumber, caraway, chicken essence, sesame oil etc.

Top 6 Kobab

• A fascinating lure for food buffs is Local Snacks Street (Moslem Street) near Drum Tower in Muslim Square. On the two sides of the 500-meter street, there are many restaurants of different cuisines along with unique snack shops.

Top 7 Buckwheat Noodles

Chopped Buckwheat Noodles are Buckwheat flour noodles chopped by knife. Buckwheat is one of good minor cereals of Northern Shaanxi Province. The cereal is high-protein and low-fat, and with high vitamin contents.

Top 8: qi Shan Noodles

Qishan Noodles originated in Qishan County and hence it is named after the county name.

Top 9 Xiao Jing Gao ( Eight Treasure Rose Mirror Cake)

The eight-treasure rose mirror cake is a traditional Moslem sweet cake for breakfast, which has more than one –hundred- year history in Xi’an

Top 10 hu la tang (Xi'an Hu La Tang Soup)

Actually, Hu La Tang is very popular in Shaanxi and Henan Province. But the cooking style is different. Xi'an local Muslims can do it the best. It is usually a sticky soup with potatoes, beans, carrots, cabbages, and meat balls. The actual name in Xian of this hot and spicy( spicy is optional) food is Rou Wan Hu La Tang.

In one word, If you are going to Xi’an, without trying those snacks you would regret forever.

A wonderful experience in Gasoline Cafe

There are several Gasoline Cafe in Malaysia, but the one in Sunway Pyramid is the best, a good service mix with delicious food is called enjoy life.
Gasoline Cafe is very special. They are a cartoon theme concept restaurant with 300 different dishes and 100 beverages in their menu, including western food, japanese food, chinese food and so on. I tried the steak and singapore mee hoon there, it was really really delicious!! Especially the visual of the dish is beautiful! i ate alot there..and i ordered a glass of 'Sky Juice', but it turned out to be water! i think this is the most interesting part, i didn't expect 'sky Juice' to be plain water with lemon. They use their different names to attract customers, what a great idea.
Anyway, i think i really had a great time there, if possible, i would like to go there again! ^.^

Different college life

Time flies! i have been malaysia for almost 5 months! And i began my hospitality managent course at January, during these days,i have another kind experience of the college life which is not the same as my college life in China. The big difference is that we have to do a lot of projects in different classes, such as IT project(make a wetside about the college,do brochure and booklet), interview a restaurant and taste the food there and do report about that, make newpaper about food and so on. Besides, we have assessment in every week in every class, so busy, so tired~~~~~~~but it is worth. What impress me most is that we do the projects with our group members, it is like a team, a team that everyone should do his part, everyone has his responsibility to make things smooth for the group project.
